IMPORTANT NEWS FOR ALL OF OUR FANS

As from today we will be blogging not just about the Outdoor Market but also the market hall and the market arcade too.  We understand how important it is to have as wide a choice as possible when it comes to shopping and we intend to make sure that you get that choice.  We also intend to keep you up to date with events in and around Glossop too.

LATE LUNCH AT THE SHY OKAPI

If you haven't had your lunch yet I  suggest you pay a visit to The Shy Okapi at Glossop Local Produce Market today which is being help on the cobbled market ground in the centre of Glossop.  These guys sell some of the most delicious food I've tasted in a long time, including curry, toasties and soup.  Just the thing to warm you up on this cold March day.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUNCH AT THE MARKET TODAY

There is plenty going on today at the Victorian, cobbled market ground in the centre of Glossop.  The Local Produce Market, which takes place alongside the regular market, on the 2nd Saturday of every month, always attracts plenty of visitors who are looking for something different.  Packed with artisans and local food producers, the Local Produce Market is a vibrant and popular shopping experience with locals and visitors alike.

At the market today there is live music from The Moot plus a cornucopia of stalls selling food and artisan products.  As tomorrow is Mothers Day there are lots of gifts on sale at todays market and we do urge you to go down as early as you can to avoid disappointment as our artisans only have a limited number of items for sale and many will sell out before the end of the market.

The photographs show just a few of the many gift ideas which are on sale at todays Local Produce Market, all of which are hand crafted by local artisans, especially for you.
