Zonya and Andrea from the A to Z Cake Co got a big Glossop Outdoor Market welcome yesterday when they came to the Farmers Market with their fantastic selection of home baked cakes and biscuits. These two lovely ladies had never stood a market before and they were a little nervous about what to expect! Needless to say they had a great day and had sold out by mid afternoon. The Derbyshire Winery Limited was another newcomer to the Farmers Market and they bought with them a great selection of wines which are all produced, bottled and labelled by themselves using ingredients from around the world. With prices starting from just £5.80 per bottle they are very competitive and the wine which we, of course, had to sample was very good. We especially loved the Joys Blush Rose and the Five Arch Red. These two ladies came for the first time yesterday to Glossop Outdoor Market with a lovely selection of handmade gift ideas which they make themselves. Two very talented ladies who must spend hours knitting and sewing to produce such a prolific selection of items.

The wonderful fragrance of lavender surrounded this stall and came from the range of lavender products that are all handmade by the couple who run this stall. They also make and sell a wide range of therapeutic quality aromatherapy products which proved very popular at yesterdays market. We think they must have had a good day because they have already asked to book a stall at our Christmas market!
