| Bookworm stalls |
One of our traders is featured in this months edition of Market Times. Pam Alderton, owner of Bookworm pre-loved books, answered a Tweet from the NMTF about taking people on work experience on the market and applied to join the scheme within 5 minutes of it being launched. We were the first market in the UK to receive someone on placement and all of the traders on the market pitched in to help teach the tricks of the trade. Eva Scott, aged 19, was with us for 4 weeks and enjoyed herself so much that she is now hoping to join us as a trader selling cosmetics and we are all looking forward to our next candidate joining us.
