JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS PART 3 THE ENTERTAINMENT

Martyn Shaw's Might 4

Some of the non stop entertainment yesterday at Glossop Outdoor Market was provided by Martyn Shaw's Mighty 4 Jazz Band.  With a sound very reminiscent of Glenn Miller in his hey day they had feet tapping all around the market with their selection of traditional jazz.

Glossopdale Community College Swing Band

This bunch of talented students and teachers from Glossopdale Community College had us all rocking in the aisles!  With two hours of non-stop swing music they were a big hit with everyone and will be welcomed back to Glossop Outdoor Market with open arms any time they want to come down and play.  A big thank you to them - they made the day a roaring success.

Bob Malloy

Bob Malloy is the owner of a shop in the Market Arcade and he provided us with non stop music and dancing from 9am until 4pm with his disco and karaoke.  He went down well with adults and children alike and had the market rocking from dawn till dusk.  Bob and his disco come highly recommended and he is available for functions and can be contacted via his shop in Glossop Market Arcade where he sells a vast selection of c.d.'s and d.v.d.'s.

Steve

High Peak Radio Road Show Saturday Wakeup Show joined us yesterday morning from 7am until mid-day and spent the morning talking to traders and customers.  These guys were great and we all appreciated the hard work they contributed to make the day a big success.  Thank you gents, we couldn't have done it without your help in promoting the day for us on our local radio station and bringing us customers from all across the High Peak who listened to your broadcasts.
